Actors Sanjay Mishra and Rajesh Tailang are currently in the spotlight for their upcoming film ‘Arjun Bewakoof’, whose teaser was launched in Prayagraj on September 26. Although the two actors could not attend the event, they expressed their special affection for the city and its people.Sanjay Mishra said he had wished that the journey of ‘Arjun Bewakoof’ would begin in Prayagraj and that he would personally witness the beginning, but unfortunately, that could not happen.Recalling an old wish from his life, Sanjay said, “I had a wish that the first time I saw the sea in Mumbai, it would be a special moment. But that did not happen. It remained just a wish, and I first saw the sea in Kanyakumari. Similarly, I wanted the journey of ‘Arjun Bewakoof’ to begin in Prayagraj and wanted to be present at that beginning. Unfortunately, that could not happen.”Sanjay also thanked the people of Prayagraj for supporting the film. He said, “Thank you to everyone in Prayagraj who has supported ‘Arjun Bewakoof’. Thank you very much. Long live ‘Arjun Bewakoof’.”Rajesh Tailang also spoke warmly about his connection with Prayagraj. He said the city is a sacred land and that he always feels blessed whenever he visits.“Prayagraj is such a sacred land. Whenever I come here, I feel the blessings of this soil, and I have always received immense love from the people here. The people of Prayagraj have made a very lovely film on the soil of Prayagraj itself, and its name is ‘Arjun Bewakoof’,” Tailang said.He added that the film’s teaser was launched in Prayagraj on September 26. While he and Sanjay Mishra are only a small part of the film, they could not attend the launch because of their shooting commitments.“We regret not being able to attend the teaser launch. But whenever the film releases and there is an event related to the film in the future, I will definitely come. I always enjoy visiting Prayagraj. Thank you very much to the audience for supporting the film so much,” Rajesh said.‘Arjun Bewakoof’ is described as a blend of crime, suspense, dark humour and comedy. Alongside Sanjay Mishra and Rajesh Tailang, the film features Dolly Singh, Anand Raj, Malvi Malhotra, Jigisha Joshi, Shikhar Mishra and Satendra Yadav in important roles.The film has been directed by Smita Singh, while the story has been written by Anand Raj.
