Redmi Note 8 Pro and will be unveiled on August 29. Redmi shared a poster on Chinese social network Weibo giving us a glimpse of the Note 8 Pro that has three cameras aligned vertically on its back, with the fourth one placed on the right. The image further reveals that the Note 8 Pro won't come with an in-display fingerprint reader as it's placed below the rear cameras. Redmi will also announce the Note 8 on August 29 alongside the Note 8 Pro, but it's unlikely to sport a 64MP camera.
Last week Redmi GM Lu Weibing confirmed some of the key features of the Redmi Note 8. Weibing took to the Chinese microblogging site, Weibo, to talk about the Redmi Note 8. He said that the Redmi Note 8 will come with a bigger battery, better cameras, higher screen-to-body ratio and improved hand feel. Overall the Redmi Note 8 series is expected to be a much-upgraded version over the Redmi Note 7 series. As far as the design is concerned the Redmi Note 8 phones look a lot like the K20 series. At least that's what the renders suggest. Renders have also revealed that the Redmi Note 8 series will come with 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type C support, minimal bezels and compact form factor.
