Realme has now started teasing a brand new smartphone that it claims is the world's first to come with a 64MP camera. Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth posted a picture on Twitter that has been shot on this mysterious new Realme phone. Notably, the watermark reveals that the phone sports a 64MP AI quad camera. Apart from being the first phone in the world to sport a 64MP camera, it will also be Realme's first phone to feature a quad camera setup.
The upcoming Realme phone will be using Samsung's new 64MP ISOCELL Bright GW1 image sensor. Like other high-resolution ISOCELL sensors, the GW1 will also use 4-in-1 pixel merging technology to merge four 0.8 micron pixels into a single 1.6-micron pixel to offer bright 16MP images in low light conditions with the added ability to shoot raw 64MP photos in daylight as well. Sheth in his tweet said that this Realme phone will launch in India first before heading to other markets. This is the first time we are hearing about this new Realme phone, but it is clear that the company is touting it as a camera powerhouse.
