Actress Mannara Chopra is quite active on social media and often shares posts to stay connected with her fans. However, after sharing a new video on Monday, the actress once again became the target of body-shaming comments.Mannara Chopra posted a dance video on Instagram in which she can be seen dancing to the popular Punjabi track Gucci by Arub Khan. In the video, Mannara is seen wearing a black structured, jacket-style outfit. Sharing the video, she wrote, “When you are already a brand, why chase labels?”While many users showered love on Mannara’s video, some commented on her appearance and weight. One user wrote, “Why are you getting fat?” while another commented, “Very fat.”Another user wrote, “Go to the gym and work out a little. This is not body shaming; it is my concern as a fan.”However, this is not the first time Mannara Chopra has been trolled over her weight. She has faced body-shaming at public events in the past as well. A social media user had previously commented on her weight and advised her to lose weight.Mannara Chopra has won the hearts of audiences with her acting in both South Indian cinema and Bollywood. She began her acting career in 2014 with the Telugu film Prema Geema Jantha Nai. The same year, she made her Bollywood debut with the Hindi film Zid, in which her performance received considerable appreciation.She has also appeared in several South Indian films, including Jakkanna (2016), Thikka (2016), Rogue (2017), and Sita (2019).Mannara Chopra was seen on the reality television show Bigg Boss 17 during 2023–2024, where she emerged as the second runner-up.
