Karan Patel and his wife Ankita Bhargava welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on December 14. The baby was born on Saturday morning - Ankita is doing well and so is the child. In a statement, Karan said that he is ecstatic about the birth of his daughter and in fact, is "numb" with joy. "I am numb and overjoyed, and a little intimidated. The only soul who has given me such emotions all at one go," Karan said in his statement.
The 36-year-old actor also said that his wife is fine and thanked his fans and followers for their constant love, support and blessings. "Ankita is doing well and our families would like to thank each and everyone who have loved us and continue to bless us," Karan added in his statement.
