The Surat couple who dreamed of happily-ever-after until this month, when the groom's father and bride's mother - longtime friends and, according to their friends, onetime lovers - disappeared mysteriously. That's according to a report, which says it's "strongly suspected" that the duo, 48 and 46, have eloped.
For now, missing persons reports have been filed and the wedding, scheduled for February, is off. It may sound like a script from a Bollywood dramedy but seriously, spare a thought for the poor youngsters.
While the man disappeared from his house in Katargam area, the woman left her house in Navsari. It is strongly suspected that they have eloped, leaving the families in an extremely embarrassing situation. Both families have filed missing persons’ report with the police.
