World Cup 2023: Afghanistan team flies under Rohit's storm, India wins by 8 wickets

New Delhi. India won by 8 wickets against Afganistan and Rohit Sharma made a wonderful comback after first match and also become the man of match after scoring 131 runs.  After got out on duck against Australia rohit has come back like a boss. Virat Kohli also made a wonderful partnership with Rohit Sharma and scored fifty again. Virat and Rohit's form is good sign for India in this world cup. India is now on number 2 in points table

After winning the toss, Afghanistan team came to bat first and set a target of 273 runs for India. For India, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah took the maximum of four wickets.

The 9th match of the World Cup 2023 is going on between India and Afghanistan at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. Batting first, Afghanistan scored 272 runs at the loss of 8 wickets in 50 overs.

From Afghanistan, captain Hashmatullah Shahidi played important innings of 80 runs and Azmatullah Omarzai played important innings of 62 runs. Whereas, from India, Jasprit Bumrah (4 wickets), Hardik Pandya (2 wickets) and Shardul-Kuldeep took one wicket each.
