Vivo V17 smartphone launched today at an event in New Delhi. Vivo has priced the V17 at Rs 22,990 and the pre-booking starts today. The phone will go on sale from December 17, 2019 via company's online partners. The Vivo V17 is set to come with a 32MP selfie camera, 48MP quad camera, and 4500mAh battery. The Vivo V17 sports a 6.44FHD+ AMOLED display with a punch hole cut for camera placed at the top right corner of the phone. The phone is built out of plastic and weighs 176g which is lighter than the Vivo U20 which was launched a few weeks ago in India. To recall, the Vivo V17 was first launched in Russia a few weeks ago but it looks quite different from the one launched today. The Indian variant of the V17 comes with a punch-hole camera instead of the waterdrop notch.
The dual SIM phone is powered by the Snapdragon 675 chipset which is a considerably powerful chipset used on most of the mid-range phones today. The Vivo U20 is also powered by the same chipset inside. The smartphone packs in 8GB RAM and p to 128GB internal storage. The phone runs on Funtouch OS 9.2 based on Android 9.
Coming to the camera specs, as expected the Vivo V17 comes with a quad rear camera set up, comprising of 48MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP sensor with f/2.2 for wide-angle shots, and two 2MP sensors with f/2.4 aperture for bokeh shots and macro shots each. There is also an LED flash placed on the rear panel. On the front, you get a 32MP selfie camera with f/2.45 aperture.
