Jaipur. One such inspiring evening unfolded on the sidelines of Rising Rajasthan 2024, inaugurated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister — a vibrant celebration of the Pravasi Rajasthani spirit and its global impact. I had the privilege of engaging with: Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, the 77th custodian of the 1,500-year-old House of Mewar — a living symbol of Rajasthan’s timeless heritage; Dr. Gulab Kothari, Chief Editor of Rajasthan Patrika Pvt. Ltd., whose visionary leadership and scholarship in Ved Vigyan continue to shape ethical and intellectual discourse; and Sumant Sinha, my classmate and founder of ReNew, one of India’s largest renewable energy companies steering the nation’s clean energy transition. As I reflect on the evening, what stood out was the seamless interplay of heritage, intellect, and innovation — a vivid reminder that Rajasthan’s legacy is not a relic of the past, but a guiding light for the future. From the wisdom of its custodians to the vision of its changemakers, Rising Rajasthan reaffirmed that our roots are not anchors — they are foundations from which new ideas take flight.
