Actress Shilpa Shetty regularly emphasizes the importance of yoga and a balanced diet and often shares posts on Mondays to inspire her fans to embrace yoga. This Monday was no different, as she shared a challenging yoga pose, while her husband Raj Kundra praised her for mastering the art of maintaining balance in life.
Shilpa Shetty shared a video on Instagram in which she can be seen performing Bahu Vasisthasana, a challenging yoga pose that requires strength, stability and balance. Sharing the video, Shilpa wrote, “Does balance look easy? Let’s test it. Now it’s your turn to find your centre and hold it.”
Through her post, the actress also highlighted the benefits of Bahu Vasisthasana. She said the pose helps strengthen the core, shoulders, arms, wrists, legs and spine while improving balance, stability and focus.
She further explained that the asana helps develop lateral core and oblique strength, resulting in better overall body control and stability.
Soon after Shilpa shared the video, her husband and actor Raj Kundra reacted to the post. He wrote, “You’ve truly mastered the art of balancing everything, my queen.”
Shilpa, who has been associated with fitness and yoga for several years, frequently shares workout and wellness-related content with her fans. Through her posts, the actress continues to promote an active and healthy lifestyle.
On the professional front, Shilpa Shetty was recently seen in the film ‘KD – The Devil’. The film was released pan-India in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam, among other languages. Set against the backdrop of Bengaluru in the 1970s and 1980s and inspired by true events, the film features Shilpa in a powerful retro character named Satyavathi.
The film also stars Dhruva Sarja, Sanjay Dutt, V. Ravichandran, Ramesh Aravind, Reshma Nanaiah, Jisshu Sengupta and Nora Fatehi.
