The CBI registered a case against six persons, including Rhea Chakraborty and her family members, on the basis of the FIR filed by Bihar Police on Sushant Singh Rajput's family's complaint.
Rhea Chakraborty has appeared before the Enforcement Directorate at the appointed time after the ED rejected her plea for the postponement of the summon in connection with a money laundering case related to Sushant Singh Rajput's death. "Rhea Chakraborty is a law-abiding citizen. In view of the fact that ED has informed the media that the request to postpone the attendance is rejected, she has appeared in the ED at the appointed time and date," said Rhea's lawyer Satish Maneshinde.
Rhea, via her lawyer Satish Maneshinde, had requested for the postponement of the ED summon until the Supreme Court hearing. She had filed a petition in the apex court, seeking the transfer of an FIR filed, by Sushant's father, against her from Patna to Mumbai. Many caveats were filed in the court against the petition and now, the court will have a second hearing next week.
