Renault is going to unveil Triber in India later during the day. Various spy-shots have suggested that it will be a 7-seater. The company has claimed that Renault Triber has been developed for India and is "super-spacious" and "ultra-modular". That the vehicle will have ample room can be gauged from the fact that its length is 3.99 meters. By all means, the MPV will occupy the space between Renault Kwid and the company's SUVs. The carmaker will introduce Triber in India in the second half of 2019.
Expectations are that Triber price will range between Rs 5.5 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 7.5 lakh Speculations are rife about Triber being powered by Kwid's 3-cylinder, 1.0-litre, SCe petrol engine. The mill produces 68 PS and 91 Nm of torque in the popular hatchback and is offered with both manual and automatic transmissions.
