Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani paid a courtesy visit to Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday night. The meeting took place shortly after Devnani arrived in the national capital to participate in the All India Assembly Speakers Conference, scheduled to be held in the Delhi Assembly from 24–25 August.
During the cordial meeting, the two leaders discussed matters of mutual interest, including parliamentary traditions, the role of elected representatives, and initiatives to strengthen democratic institutions.
Speaker Devnani will also attend a briefing session on the proposed Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference in Barbados, West Indies, to be held at the Parliamentary Annexe of Parliament House on Sunday evening.
Following the conclusion of the Assembly Speakers Conference, he is scheduled to return to Jaipur on Monday evening.
