BJP national president Nitin Nabin announced his new team on Monday, with several prominent leaders being given important responsibilities with the aim of strengthening the party organisation. The party also issued an official notification regarding the appointments.
Piyush Goyal has been appointed National Treasurer, while Rajesh Mangal has been given the responsibility of National Co-Treasurer. B.L. Santosh has been appointed National General Secretary. Shiprakash and Saudan Singh have been given the responsibility of Assistant Minister.
Senior leader Smriti Irani has been appointed National General Secretary, while Vasundhara Raje has been given the responsibility of National Vice President.
In addition, Tirath Singh Rawat, Ram Madhav, Baijayant Panda, D. Purandeswari, Rekha Verma, Varshaben Narendra Bhai Doshi, Bharti Praveen Pawar, Manpreet Singh Badal, Lala Singh Arya, M. Nagaraj, Tariq Mansoor and Madhuchandra Kar have been appointed Vice Presidents. The party has assigned the Vice President responsibilities to 13 leaders.
The party has also approved the names of eight leaders for the post of General Secretary. They include Vinod Tawde, Sunil Bansal, Biplab Kumar Deb, Smriti Irani, Satish Poonia, Gajendra Patel, Harish Dwivedi and Sanjay Bhatia.
For the post of National Secretary, the names include Kavita Patidar, K. Surendran, Bhola Singh, Pradeep Yadav, Jagdish Ishwarbhai Patel, Sandeep Pathak, Phangnon Konyak, Sangeeta Yadav, Anil Antony, M. Venkatesan, Manoj Tigga, Siddharth Shambhu, Swadesh Singh, Mriganka Deb Barman, Rohan Gupta and Jai Prakash.
Nitin Nabin also congratulated the newly appointed office-bearers in a post on his social media platform X.
He wrote, “Heartiest congratulations and best wishes to all the newly appointed office-bearers of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s national team. This team, enriched with experience and energy, will give new momentum to the organisation under the guidance of Prime Minister Modi. I am fully confident that all members of the team, while working with the spirit of dedicated party workers, will further strengthen the organisation and take the resolve of ‘Viksit Bharat’ and the mission of national service to new heights.”
