KTM has launched the 390 Adventure in India for a starting price of Rs 2.99 lakh. With the introduction of the new KTM 390 Adventure, the two-wheeler maker has stepped into the adventure biking segment in the country. Unveiled in India in December 2019, KTM 390 Adventure is inspired from KTM 450 Rally. The new 390 Adventure is powered by a 373.2 cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, 4V DOHC engine that delivers 43 hp and 37 Nm of peak torque. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
KTM 390 Adventure sits on a powder-coated steel trellis frame and uses a die-cast, open-lattice swingarm. Taking care of the suspension duties are 43 mm open-cartridge upside-down WP front forks with 170 mm travel and gas-assisted WP rear shock with 177 mm travel. While the front has a 19-inch wheel, the rear gets a 17-inch wheel, with knobby tyres by Metzeller at both the ends. There is a disc each at the front (320 mm) and rear (230 mm). Also available is the Bosche 9.1 MP twin channel cornering ABS. Read More...
