Kangana Ranaut slams out at Karan Johar for being silent on the #MeToo movement

After Kangana Ranaut made an appearance on Koffee With Karan, social media has been abuzz with Kangana’s ‘Nepotism’ remark, for Kangana ridiculed Karan by saying that he is the ‘flag bearer of Nepotism’. Now, Kangana is back at it and in the wake of the #MeToo movement, the actress has yet again lashed out at the filmmaker for keeping quiet on the whole issue. As we all know, the #MeToo movement has hit Bollywood after Tanushree Dutta renewed her decade long sexual harassment case against Nana Patekar and post Tanushree, a lot of women are calling out names. Soon after, Alok Nath, Sajid Khan, Subhash Kapoor, Subhash Ghai, Kailash Kher, Vikas Bahl, and others have come under the scanner for their sexual misconduct.

After Vikas Bahl was accused of sexual misconduct by one of his ex-employees, Kangana Ranaut has come out in the open and condemned her Queen director of sexual abuse as she said ‘he’d bury his face in my neck and hold me really tight and breathe in the smell of my hair.” But after all the allegations leveled against Bahl, Vikas Bahl’s ex-wife Richa Dubey came out in support of Vikas, and lashed out at Kangana by saying that “I want to ask all the women - if a man makes you uncomfortable and touches you inappropriately, would you have a good friendship with that man?’ Thereafter, Kangana, who has been at the forefront of this campaign retorted back at Richa by saying that it is not the time for women to pick up fights with each other and instead, women must support each other in this testing time.
