India has recorded 28,701 positive coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours. A total of 500 deaths have also been reported. The total number of positive cases in the country stands at 8,78,254 including 3,01,609 active cases. Over 5.5 lakh people have recovered in the country. The total death toll from coronavirus in India has now crossed 23,000.
Maharashtra reports 7,827 new Covid-19 cases and 173 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking total number of cases to 2,54,427, including 1,40,325 recoveries and 10,289 deaths.
Delhi records 1,573 fresh coronavirus cases, tally rises to 1,12,494; 37 deaths take toll to 3,371.
879 positive cases of Covid-19 and 13 deaths reported in Gujarat in the last 24 hours. State's Covid-19 case tally rises to 41,906 including 29,198 cured/discharged and 2,047 deaths.
West Bengal's Covid-19 tally crosses 30,000-mark with record 1,560 new cases, death toll rises to 932.
Rajasthan has recorded 95 new Covid-19 cases and 4 deaths today. The total number of cases is recorded so far in the state now stands at 24,4877. There are 5,753 active cases in Rajasthan and 514 people have died in the state after getting infected.
Assam has detected 735 new positive coronavirus cases in last 24 hours, and the state tally has now surged to 16,806. Out of the new cases, 400 have been reported from Guwahati city.
