India has recorded 43,082 fresh coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, taking India’s total coronavirus case count to 93,09,788. Apart from the fresh Covid-19 cases, the death toll has also gone up by 492. With the latest spike, a total of 1,35,715 people have died in India so far. 39,379 were discharged after treatment in the past 24 hours. Among the 93 lakh coronavirus cases in total, the number of active cases in India are at 4,55,555 while the total number of discharged cases are at 87,18,517.
Mumbai reported 1,147 fresh coronavirus cases and 548 recoveries. Mumbai’s Covid-19 death toll rose by 16, taking the total deaths to 10,739 in the city. Mumbai now has 2,79,737 coronavirus cases, including 2,54,152 recoveries and 11,697 active cases.
