This initiative aims to bridge the healthcare gap in remote areas by delivering essential medical services, including health check-ups, immunizations, and basic treatments, directly to the doorstep of rural communities. By ensuring easy accessibility to critical healthcare, the initiative seeks to improve overall health awareness and well-being in the region. The Mobile Health Van was officially flagged off by Dr. Ashok Aditya, Chief Medical Health Officer of Udaipur, and Ram Murari, IBU-CEO of the Zawar Business Unit, during an event held at the community center in Tidi. Speaking at the launch, Dr. Aditya commended the project, highlighting the significance of collaborative efforts between community health programs and government services in reaching underserved rural populations. He encouraged the local community to utilize the van’s services to achieve better health outcomes. Ram Murari described the launch as a milestone in Hindustan Zinc’s ongoing commitment to strengthening community healthcare facilities. The event was also attended by key dignitaries, including Nidhi Yadav (BCMO, Girwa), Amrit Meghwal (Naib Tehsildar, Barapal), TD Sarpanch Banshilal Meena, Nevatlai Sarpanch Kishan Lal Meena, and social worker Laxman Meena from Amarpura. Since 2018, Hindustan Zinc has remained dedicated to improving rural healthcare through various community initiatives. By extending its services to 110 villages across Bhilwara, Rajsamand, Chittorgarh, and Udaipur, the company aims to benefit approximately 1.62 lakh people. With an extensive reach spanning seven locations across five districts in Rajasthan—including Bhilwara, Rajsamand, Ajmer, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, and Salumber—this initiative reinforces the company’s unwavering commitment to expanding healthcare access and awareness in underprivileged areas.
