Amid ongoing relief and rescue operations following a severe natural disaster in Nepal, the threat of another major flood has emerged. After reports of a rapid rise in the water level and flow of the Bhote Koshi River on Sunday morning, the Nepal Disaster Risk Management Authority issued a high alert in Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading districts. Residents living along the riverbanks have been advised to remain vigilant and move to safer locations.Key Figures Related to Indian Citizens:Missing: 275 Indian citizens and 128 people of Indian origin are still missing or out of contact.Rescued Safely: A total of 108 Indian citizens have so far been safely evacuated from Nepal.Safe Movement from the China Border: Over the past 48 hours, 598 Indian citizens have safely entered Nepal from China, while around 900 Indians are reportedly safe in the border region.Rescue Operation Underway for Workers Trapped at Hydropower ProjectsAround 898 employees working at various hydropower projects are still missing, while 361 workers have been safely rescued. According to Nepal's Energy and Water Resources Minister Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, a large-scale rescue operation is underway inside a tunnel filled with silt and debris at the Trishuli-3A Hydropower Project. Rescuers have drilled through the upper section of the tunnel to send oxygen, light and sound signals inside. Preparations are now underway to create a manhole to facilitate entry into the tunnel.Miracle: Six-Year-Old Girl Rescued Alive from Debris After Three DaysAmid the devastation, a team of the Armed Police Force rescued a six-year-old girl alive from beneath the debris in the Timure area of Rasuwa district after three days. The team heard the child crying from underneath the rubble and immediately launched a rescue operation. She was pulled out safely and, after receiving first aid, was referred to Kathmandu for further medical treatment.
