National Award winning choreographer Saroj Khan died of a cardiac arrest in a Mumbai hospital on Friday; she was 71. She was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai on June 20 after she complained of breathing issues, passed away today. The last rites of Saroj Khan will be performed at Malvani in Malad, Mumbai today.
She died due to a cardiac arrest in the ICU of Guru Nanak Hospital where she was admitted on June 20 after she complained of breathing issues. "She passed away due to cardiac arrest at around 2.30 am at the hospital," Saroj Khan's nephew Manish Jagwani told. In a career spanning over four decades, Khan was credited with choreographing more than 2,000 songs.
