Recently, Amitabh Bachchan shared an interesting detail about his everyday life. The megastar revealed that he has never made even a cup of tea for his wife, Jaya Bachchan.
The revelation came during an episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 18, when a contestant named Padmini asked Amitabh whether he had ever made tea for his wife. Amitabh replied that he had never made tea for Jaya because he does not drink tea himself and does not know how to prepare it.
Explaining the reason, Amitabh said that a person who does not drink tea would naturally not know how to make it. He also mentioned that although Jaya drinks tea, he has never prepared it for her because he simply does not know how to make it.
The actor further said that these days tea can be prepared using tea bags, which come with a string and can simply be dipped into hot water. However, he admitted that he had never used one himself. Amitabh added that he is now learning how to make proper tea so that if his wife ever feels like having a cup, he can prepare it for her.
Amitabh and Jaya’s Love Story
Talking about Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan’s love story, Jaya was already a well-known actress at the time, while Amitabh was still trying to establish himself in the film industry.
