A pair of trainers designed by shoemaker Adidas and German porcelain manufacturer Meissen could be the first to reach a million dollars at the end of an auction organized by Sotheby's, the auctioneer estimates. Sotheby's, an auction company headquartered in New York City, said that the shoes could fetch up to USD 1 million in auction. Proceeds from the auction will go to Brooklyn Museum to help fund access to the arts for local youths. The porcelain shoes will be available online on the Sotheby's website from December 7 to December 16.
