Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, popularly known as the “Mr. Perfectionist,” recently shared an interesting anecdote about his first meeting with actress Kareena Kapoor Khan. Aamir recalled that when he first saw Kareena, she was just 12 years old and he found her extremely cute.
During a conversation on Koffee With Karan, Kareena asked Aamir, “What was your first impression of me?”
Aamir replied, “I remember there was a very sweet 12-year-old girl who used to sit on the sets of Andaz Apna Apna. She would come with her sister Karisma Kapoor and watch us very carefully. I found her very cute.”
During the conversation, Aamir also asked Kareena which of his habits irritated her the most. Smiling, Kareena replied, “Your perfectionist habit. There is nothing wrong with it, but everything has to be exactly the way you want it. Until that happens, you are not satisfied. Sometimes, it can get a little irritating.”
Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor later worked together in several films. The two first appeared together in the 2009 blockbuster 3 Idiots, in which Aamir played Rancho and Kareena portrayed Pia.
They subsequently shared the screen in Reema Kagti’s 2012 psychological thriller Talaash: The Answer Lies Within. Aamir played Inspector Surjan Shekhawat, while Kareena portrayed the mysterious Rosie. Rani Mukerji also played a key role in the film.
Aamir and Kareena’s most recent on-screen pairing came in the 2022 film Laal Singh Chaddha, the Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood classic Forrest Gump. Aamir played the titular character, Laal Singh Chaddha, while Kareena portrayed Rupa D’Souza.
