Ducati today launched the BS6 Multistrada 950 S in India at a starting price of Rs 15.49 lakh. While the BS6 Multistrada 950 S bookings are now open at all the Ducati dealerships across India, the deliveries of the bike will commence in the second week of November. The Multistrada 950 S, which is the smallest 'multibike' in Ducati's portfolio, is available in the Ducati Red colour.
At the heart of the Ducati Multistrada 950 S is a 937cc, liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder Testastretta 11 engine that develops 113hp of maximum power and 96Nm of utmost twisting force. The motorcycle sits on a tubular steel trellis frame that is linked to a new and lighter double-sided aluminium swingarm. The front suspension has a 170mm long travel. There is a 19-inch aluminium alloy wheel at the front with twin discs. The entire Multistrada family features a Brembo braking system. The Bosch Cornering ABS in the new Multistrada 950 S uses the Bosch IMU (inertial measurement unit) platform to optimise front and rear braking power.
