BMW today launched the third-generation X6 in India for an introductory price of Rs 95 lakh. The new BMW X6, which enters India as a CBU (completely built-up) unit, is now available for bookings across all the BMW dealerships in the country. The 2020 BMW X6 comes in a couple of variants - xLine and M Sport. An interesting point to be noted is that the X6 now comes with a host of customization options. The 2020 X6 will rival the likes of Porsche Cayenne Coupe and Audi Q8.
Under the hood of the new X6, you will find a 3.0-litre, inline 6-cylinder petrol engine with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology. The powerful engine delivers 340hp and 450Nm of peak torque. The motor is mated to an 8-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission that sends power to all the four wheels. The third-generation X6 can complete a 0-100 kmph sprint in 5.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 250kmph.

The new BMW X6 sports an ‘Iconic Glow’ kidney grille, that gets an optional illumination feature. The grille is flanked by twin LED headlights. The front looks quite dynamic with features like distinctive apron and enlarged air inlets. At the rear, you will across L-shaped LED taillights. The 20-inch alloys are standard. The third-generation BMW X6 has grown in proportions as compared to its predecessor. The Sports Activity Coupe, as BMW likes to call it, is now 26mm longer, 15mm wider and has 42mm more wheelbase.
