Director Amar Kaushik's Stree-2, which released on 15th August, has created a great stir at the box office and has written a new history in the horror comedy genre by doing a business of 254.55 crores in 6 days of its release.
Stree 2 has surprised the box office by doing a business of 25 crores on Tuesday, the sixth day of its release. Tuesday was a completely working day, despite that Stree 2 earned 25 crores and surpassed Fighter's first day business of 22.50 crores.
The way Stree 2, made in a limited budget of just 50 crores, is doing business so far, it is clear that it will be successful in setting new records at the box office by its second weekend. Looking at the earnings that Stree 2 has made at the box office in 6 days of its release, it would not be an exaggeration to say that this film will be successful in crossing the 350 crore mark at the box office in the coming week. If this happens, it will create a new history for films of the horror comedy genre.
Along with Stree 2, John Abraham's Veda and Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein were released at the box office. From the very first day of its release, Stree 2 showed these films the way out of the box office.
Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana have also acted in it. 'Stree 2' is directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande. This is the second installment of the 2018 horror-comedy film 'Stree'.
