B.Tech (ECE) third year student Anshuman Kamboj prepared a Manipal Information Robot "MIRO" with in 15 days, under guidance Assistant Professor of EE Department, Peeyush Garg. Chairperson, Manipal University Jaipur, Prof. K. Ramnarayan, President, Prof. Sandeep Sancheti, Pro-President, N.N. Sharma, Registrar, Prof. VandanaSuhag and Dean, Research and Innovation, Prof. B. K. Sharma congratulated Assistant Professor of EE Department, Peeyush Garg and B.Tech (ECE) third year student Anshuman Kamboj for devising "MIRO" following deep research and hardwork.
MIRO (Manipal information robot) is a reception robot capable of recognizing human voice and assisting people by providing information about Manipal University Jaipur, along with speech coordinated facial movements. Apart from providing information, it is capable of making various sound enabled facial movements for entertaining its spectators. The whole setup was prepared by team of 2 members in various labs of MUJ within 15 days. MIRO was showcased during B.Tech counselling-2017 and it was a major point of attraction.
